What Are Digital Scores?
Digital Scores are PDF versions of scores sent directly to your email address. Once you complete your order, you will be sent a PDF with a limited copy license to legally print the amount of copies for which you paid (emails will be sent within 3 business days). Please note that if more copies are needed, you must order the additional amount. Additional copies made above and beyond the number you purchase is copyright infringement and prohibited by U.S. copyright laws.
 
How will I receive my digital music?
You will be sent an email containing a PDF of the score(s) you have purchased. This PDF includes a Limited Copy License to legally print the amount of copies for which you paid. Please note that if more copies are needed, you must order the additional amount.
 
What is a limited copy license?
A limited copy license allows you to print and distribute only the number of scores you have purchased. Any further distribution, sharing, selling, or tampering with the copyrighted digital score is illegal under U.S. copyright law.
 
What are the penalties for violating copyright laws?
If you are found to be making illegal copies of copyrighted works, you can face fines of $750 to $30,000 (statutory damages) and if the court finds willfulness, up to $150,000 per copyright infringement. If willful infringement for commercial advantage and private financial gain is proven, fines can increase up to $250,000 and/or 5 years imprisonment or both. I do not wish this on anyone so please be honest and support your independent composer!
 
All State/Honor Choirs – How do I purchase fewer scores?
For All State Choir members, you will be allowed to purchase fewer than 8 copies of a choral score. Please purchase the appropriate amount and make a note in your purchase that it is for a specified All State or Honor Choir (each All State/Honor choir is communicated to me with details of participants and schools). I will then send a licensed PDF to print the number of scores purchased.
 
How do I pay with a Purchase Order?
If you are unable to pay with PayPal and need to use a purchase order, please contact me.

How can I let the composer know of a performance?
It is highly encouraged (and appreciated!) to notify me of all performances of my works. This way, I can help spread the word through the calendar on my website, share with social media, and possibly attend the performance.

Terms & Conditions
By shopping with the JR Music Store, the customer agrees to abide by the laws of commerce in the United States of America. All scores are copyrighted material and all rights are reserved. Any further dissemination, copying, sharing, or selling of the digital and printed sheet music, without written consent of the publisher (JR Music/Jake Runestad), is prohibited by federal law of the U.S.A. Customers must order at least 8 copies for all choral works. If you feel you may be an exception to this (a vocal quartet), please contact us. Perusal scores are available to view on the website or maybe be shared by contacting us. Refunds are not available after digital scores have been sent via email. Payment is made through PayPal and the customer is responsible for any issues that may arise through payment with this organization.
