The Choral Arts Initiative, under the direction of Brandon Elliott, will perform my I Will Lift Mine Eyes during their inaugural concert. This exciting ensemble will “foster and promote both emerging and established repertoire through composer-ensemble collaboration, performance, and community partnership.”

The Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Andre Thomas, will perform my Nyon Nyon during their summer concerts.

The National Lutheran Choir, under the direction of David Cherwein, will perform my Nada Te Turbe as a part of their tour program en route to perform at the national conference for the Association for Lutheran Church Musicians.

Conductor David Bauer will host a camp to prepare students for the Nebraska All-State Choir auditions. If accepted into the All-State Choir, the students will perform on November 23 at the state music educators convention in Lincoln, NE.
The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, pianist Jeffrey Biegel, and the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans will give the premiere of “Dreams of the Fallen” – a work they commissioned setting the texts of acclaimed poet and Iraq War veteran Brian Turner.
The Nebraska All-State Choir, with guest conductor Andre Thomas, will perform my Nyon Nyon at the state music educator’s conference.
